Ristorante Italiano & Bar offers clean, fresh flavors and delicate textures that showcase the Amalfi region where Chef Giancarlo Ferrara was raised. Seafood dominates cuisine from the Amalfi Coast of Italy as does the fragrance and zest of lemons.

Amalfi's dining room is just as brisk and fresh as those lemons with its white walls, white linens and crisp dark-wood chairs accentuated with marine-blue accents. Hospitality, not stiffness welcomes you to Amalfi Ristorante, due in no small part to the attention given to each quest by Lisa Ferrara in the front of house and Chef Ciancarlo in the kitchen.

At Amalfi Ristorante Italiano, children are invite to put on aprons and roll their own dough at an open counter with the chef who prepares the pizza and focaccia in front of a wood fired oven.

Chef Giancarlo Ferrara

Amalfi's chef-owner, Giancarlo Ferrara grew up in the Amalfi’s Coast largest coastal city, Salerno, Italy. Youngest of seven children, Giancarlo often found himself alongside his mother in the kitchen, where he learned lessons about cooking that can only be taught with time, patience, passion, and love.

Giancarlo finished first in his class  at Centro Professionale Alberghiero culinary school in Salerno before earning a Masters at Scuola Arte Culinaria Etoile.

Chef Giancarlo built the culinary foundation for a lifetime in the worlds’s finest restaurants. His appreciation for local, and seasonal food of top quality has been the cornerstone of each of his culinary endeavors since. This is especially evident in Amalfi's menu.
