Spanish is indeed one of the famous Romance Languages derived from Latin, but at Hugo's the real language of "romance" is the food.

For couples dining at Hugo's around Valentine's Day, Hugo has designed a very special menu for couples who won't be celebrating their love, or love of food, specifically on the 14th.

Amalfi Ristorante ItalianoBrennan’s of Houston and Emmaline will be Culinary Partners at the 4th annual Cooking Up A Cure event that supports the rapidly growing Food Allergy Program at Texas Children's Hospital.

This unique evening is designed to raise awareness of the challenges people with food allergies face and to help support and expand the Food Allergy Program’s ongoing research and patient care initiatives. The memorable evening, held at The Revaire, will feature a casual cocktail party with dishes prepared and served by Houston's top chefs including three of our own!

Upon arrival, each guest will be assigned a food allergy to experience what it feels like to have to avoid dishes containing the potentially allergenic food.

Emmaline's Chef Michael Semancik Stars in The Truffle Masters!

January 28th at 7 pm, the battle to determine who will be Houston's Truffle Master begins. Twenty-five of the best chefs in Houston will present their culinary creations in front of a panel of prominent food figures in the restaurant industry to earn the top title of “Truffle Master.”

This challenge will test their skills with French black truffles, creating a unique foodie affair all in one spectacular showcase. The Truffle Masters 2019 event benefits Second Servings of Houston, a non-profit organization working to fight hunger and end food waste. The Revaire will serve as the premiere destination for this celebration of culinary delicacies.

These talented and seasoned chefs include Michael Semancik of Emmaline, Thomas Laczynski of Fig & Olive, Jose Hernandez of Hotel Alessandra, Dominick Lee of Poitin and many other forerunners of favorite Houston establishments. Judges of the competition include The Food Network's Megha Tejpal and Cleverley Stone, founder of Houston Restaurant Weeks.
